✅ Acceptable documents for proof of funds
If you are paying and signing the contract
We need:
In case you are working FOR a company, ONE of the following:
- Declaración de la renta - Year tax declaration.
- Your last 3 payslips
- Declaración del IRPF trimestral - Last quarter tax declaration
If the company you are working for is paying and signing the contract (21% IVA applies)
We need ALL of the following:
- Declaración de solvencia de la empresa: declaración de pérdidas y ganancias del ejercicio anterior - profits and loses declaration of the last year / quarter.
- CIF card of the company with CIF number and address.
- Letter or document in which it is specified who is the representative of the company.
- A work contract that specifies your professional relationship with the company.
If your own company is paying and signing the contract (21% IVA applies)
We need ALL of the following:
- Declaración de solvencia de la empresa: declaración de pérdidas y ganancias del ejercicio anterior - profits and loses declaration of the last year / quarter.
- CIF card of the company with CIF number and address.
- Letter or document in which it is specified who is the representative of the company.
- A work contract/document that specifies your professional relationship with the company.
❌ Non-acceptable documents for proof of funds
Bank extracts, wire transfer receipts, or invoices will not be considered valid proof of funds.
🙌🏽 If you are using a guarantor
If you use another person as a guarantor, take into account that you will have to upload his/her proof of funds following the same rules mentioned above, but also two other documents:
- Guarantor's DNI / Passport
- A guarantee letter (where the guarantor expressly accepts personal, primary and joint liability of any and all obligations, representations, and warranties arising from the agreement).
