😎 Welcome to Avenida América Coliving!

All the information you need, to get a jump start on your new life within the Urban Campus Community and more especially in Avenida América Coliving!

Your arrival is right around the corner and we’re getting ready to welcome you here, at Urban Campus Avenida América Coliving! We have prepared this onboarding guide to facilitate your move and help you settle in.

✨ New coliving

As you know, you will be the first people to live in this new coliving space. We have been working very hard and the building looks great!

Some new apartments will open following different phases during the next weeks/months. The refurbishments will happen inside the apartments and don't involve the common spaces of the building, but you might see/hear some workers around. Thanks in advance for your understanding! On another note, some of your neighbours in the building are not part of the coliving (they are traditional leases in some apartments). Be considerate of them too!

🚀 How to get to the coliving?

Avenida América Coliving is in the Salamanca neighborhood. The address is Calle Béjar 23, 28028 Madrid (Google Maps link here).

The closest metro stations are:

  • Diego de León (line 4 brown, line 5 green, line 6 grey), just 250m from the coliving
  • the big exchanger of metro and buses Avenida de América (line 4 brown, line 6 grey, line 7 orange, line 9 purple), just 500m from the coliving

Tip: 🗺 Download the Google Maps map of Madrid before you arrive, to be able to consult it offline, if you find yourself without wifi upon your arrival in the city.

From the airport

  • Taxi: The taxi is the best option if you arrive at night or if you are pressed for time. The taxi stand can be found right at the exit of the airport. The price is fixed at 30€, no matter where in the center of the city you are headed. The taxi will drop you off right outside our coliving, in around 25 min.
  • Metro: All airport terminals have access to the metro. It runs from 6.00 to 1.00 (more or less). The price is around 5-6€ and the duration of the trip is around 45 min.
Line 8 (pink): Airport > Mar de Cristal - Line 4 (brown): Mar de Cristal > Diego de León.

From Atocha train station

  • Metro: Easy, there is just 1 change! Metro is available from 6.00 to 1.00 (more or less). The price is around 1,50-2€ and the duration of the trip is around 30 min.
Line 1 (blue): Atocha > Bilbao- Line 4 (brown): Bilbao > Diego de León.

By car

We do not recommend using the car, especially as the Calle Béjar is with limited circulation 🚶🏻‍♂️. Please note that you must pay for parking, in the streets around the coliving, and it is limited to 4 hours (blue zone).

🏠 How to access the coliving?

Moving in is easy and hassle-free, so you can arrive whenever you want. You'll receive all the instructions by mail to move in just before your start date but here is a summary of the different steps.

Step 1: 📲 Install Tapkey, the Mobile door opening app on your phone

Follow the simple steps with this link!

Step 2: 🏠 Open the building door

When you arrive at the coliving (Calle Béjar 23), open the building door with the Tapkey app or the code we sent you by email.
