Spain’s first timber-structured Passivhaus coliving!
You’re living in a Passivhaus building!
Designed for maximum comfort, clean air, and ultra-low energy use.
What is Passivhaus standard?
The Passivhaus standard is a benchmark for the design, calculation, and construction of highly energy-efficient buildings — both new builds and renovations — in any climate and for all building types. It aims to provide maximum comfort, excellent indoor air quality, and near-zero energy consumption.
Developed in 1990 by the Passivhaus Institut in Darmstadt, Germany, this standard is the result of a rigorous design process and strict on-site quality control. A Passivhaus building offers significant energy savings compared to a conventional building.
What makes your home special?
- 🧊 Thermal insulation: stable indoor temperature all year round
- 🪟 Triple-glazed windows: airtight and super efficient
- 💨 Continuous ventilation: fresh air 24/7 — no need to open windows
- ❄️ Efficient climate control: quiet heat pump system
- ☀️ Solar + renewable energy: save money and reduce your impact
Tips to make the most of your Passivhaus home
To get the best experience from this Passivhaus concept, we need an active community — we need you! 🤝
- 🪟 Windows
You don’t need to open them to ventilate — the system handles it for you.
In summer/winter, keep them closed to stay comfortable. - 🚿 Hot water
Hot water is produced centrally with solar energy ☀️
Use it efficiently (e.g., short showers). - 🌡️ Climate control
Ideal temperatures: 20°C in winter, 25°C in summer.
Use responsibly.
If you open windows, turn off the A/C. - 🌞 Solar shading
In summer, lower the blinds to block heat.
In winter, raise them to let in natural warmth. - 👩🍳 Cooking
Always use the extractor hood (with carbon filter).
Strong cooking? Turn up the ventilation or crack open a window. - 💡 Electricity use
The building is equipped with LED lighting and energy-efficient appliances.
Use responsibly.
If possible, run the washing machine/dishwasher during the day (☀️ = free energy!).
